Raul Garcia

Bass trombone studies at Indiana University, professors Keith Brown and Edwin Anderson. He has performed solo recitals in Spain, USA, France and Switzerland. He has played the world premieres of three concerts for bass trombone, composers Joan Albert Amargós, Alejandro Civilotti and Antonio Moreno Pozo.

Raul was bass trombone soloist with the Orchestra of the Gran Teatre del Liceu, the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande and the Orchestra of Cadaqués. He has collaborated with most of the Spanish orchestras. He is currently the bass trombone soloist with the OBC Barcelona Symphony Orchestra and National of Catalonia. Trombone Professor, chamber music and specific repertoire in ESMUC Catalonia High College of Music. TROMBOCAT President, Catalan Trombone Association.
