Nick LAUFER

Nick Laufer is a freelance trombonist in the DFW area, performing with bands such as Jam Wows! and Sol Kitchen, among others. A tireless lead player, Nick frequently does M4’s « heavy lifting » range-wise. Conversely, with his lyrical, singing sound, his distinctive playing often defines M4’s melodies. He received his Bachelors degree from the University of North Texas. An alto trombone and alto sackbut player as well, Nick has extensive experience playing early music, and has performed at the Boston Early Music Festival.
